publicity_01Rawhide Travel and Tours is no stranger to publicity and welcomes it all.

For decades, the office has been written about, photographed and even featured in many publications such as The Arizona Republic, Travel Life Magazine, TravelAge West Magazine, The Phoenix Business Journal, The GIendale Star and many others including local Phoenix radio stations. Even as far away as Tahiti, articles and photographs about Rawhide Travel have appeared in La Depeche and The Tahiti Sun Press. Besides public speaking at numerous local schools and organizations, Ron Oster, the owner, has made several guest appearances on the popular FOX TV-10 “Arizona Morning Show” talking about travel. And, on occasion. the film crew and anchorman Bryan Mims from KPHO TV-5 (CBS) will stop in and do a “live broadcast interview” in the office on various world and local travel related news issues.

At times, the office has literally looked like a Hollywood movie. set amazing. customers with all of the lights, camera and action.

Studies on Rawhide Travel’s success have also been an ongoing project at the world renowned American Graduate School of International Management also located in GIendale, Arizona.

Ron has written several travel related articles for local newspapers and currently has his own travel column in Northwest Valley Review. And, in early 2007 look for Rawhide Travel and Tours to be on PBS across America (about 40 stations) “starring” in an Egyptian documentary special.

A movie the crew from PBS will be traveling along with one of Rawhide Travels tour groups to Egypt, including film producer Kris Koenig. Filming, the entire journey from start to finish the film crew will document the groups pre and post tour impressions and capture their exhilarating adventures and experiences during the awesome trip. When produced, the program will have “reality TV aspects” crossed with a traditional news documentary format.
